kick ass thursday

have been working my ass off recently, can hardly spare the time to eat, let alone to blog..

had a meeting on thursday till 8 plus. you see,my office is in those old shop houses along River Valley and the building construction authority sent a letter to all landlords stating that all units must repaint the external walls of the shophouse.for those who have been to my office would know how run down the place look. so my boss try to be nice and organise a meeting to get everyone to agree to paint together else will get a fine slap across the face. we are supposed to do it by end march and now is already APRIL 2005.

so my "nice" boss made this my pet project. (with my workload piling like a mountain and u still have the cheek to give me a pet project?! ) so started calling all the units. pple are just weird. they will do the "who's doing it? how many pple doing it? *reminds me of a friend who will always sms who's going when ever we have a outing.*

anyway, these pple said they are going to come for the meeting and an hour later, only 2 turn up. 2! out of 12 pple! i had to call up one by one again to check if they are coming. knn, some just simply say forget and cut me off. one was worse. here goes:

apes: "hi Mr. Chiang, u are supposed to turn up for a meeting at my office at 7pm sharp."

Chiang:" isit? i got say i am coming meh? i am a very busy man leh. so how much to paint the exterior?"

Apes: "the costing is around $1500, including a minimum 5 years warranty. weatherbond paint with washing and all..."

Chiang:" huh? $1500 ? *sarcastic tone* soooo expensive ar? wah you r boss verrrriii clever hor.... last time the painting shop only charge $600 nia! wah your bosss veeeeerrrriiii Expensive! then how many pple know about this pricing huh? tsk tsk tsk.

Apes: (fuming liao) there is a reason for this pricing, which is why we arrange the meeting to explain and see how we can upgrade this place. this price is reasonable that u dun have to repaint every year, SIR! there are only 2 landlord here noe and they have both agreed.

Chiang: *evil sarcastic laugh* hehehehe, only two ar? wahh..aiyah, your boss soooooexpensive... eh, how to expect me to agree? somemore not all are willing lah, ask your boss to try harder lah.. tsk tsk tsk sooooo expensive.

Apes: raising voice liao* this is exactly why we are holding the meeting to explain, but out of ten pple i call, 8 who is supposed to turn up dun even bother to call and inform that they are not coming. and one of them is you SIR!!

Chiang: ......... i i i not free what... u all meet 7 sooo early... meet at 9 plus mah! i meet your boss at 9 plus lor.

Apes: "u want, u call my boss to arrange. u think expensive, ask my boss. u wana get summon, dun paint lor. thanks for your time sir. "

TMD, wan cheap and green and big tits (translate hokkien) , then even so have a better attitude mah. hate it when he do the lizard thingy : "tsk tsk tsk"..... tsk your lizard head lah. i hope u get a fine! bleah~!
